Multi-year pledges welcome

Immediate funding needs

New Covered Bouldering Park

Climbing is one of our most in-demand activities, and our current space can’t keep up. A covered bouldering park will give us a dedicated, weather-proof area to teach core climbing skills, expand instruction time, and safely serve more campers each day and throughout the summer.

$350,000 Needed

Need-Based Scholarships

Families are facing real financial pressures, and affordability remains one of our biggest challenges. These scholarship funds ensure that every child who wants to experience the magic of camp can access it, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. This support directly removes barriers and ensures that no camper is turned away due to need.

$350,000 Needed Annually

Camper/Staff Tents

Four new platform tents will allow us to welcome 50 additional campers and staff each summer. This expansion increases our overall capacity, strengthens our program, and helps more young people experience the growth and community that define Ramah in the Rockies.

$200,000 Needed Total ($50,000 to name a tent)

Dining Hall Soundproofing

Our dining hall is the heart of camp, but with 350+ campers and staff it becomes overwhelmingly loud. To create a more comfortable and accessible dining experience, we need to hire a professional sound engineer and install commercial-grade sound-dampening systems. This upgrade will reduce overall volume and make it easier for everyone to hear announcements, participate in song sessions, and enjoy meals together.

$100,000 Needed

Shower doors for lower bathhouse

We replaced the shower curtains in the upper bathhouse with doors to improve privacy, comfort, and overall camper experience. This proved to be one of the most popular upgrades of the summer, and we would like to make this improvement in the lower bathhouse too. The materials list and project plan are complete; we just need funding to make it happen.

$25,000 Needed

Purchase a Quad Cab Truck

We replaced the shower curtains in the upper bathhouse with doors to improve privacy, comfort, and overall camper experience. This proved to be one of the most popular upgrades of the summer, and we would like to make this improvement in the lower bathhouse too. The materials list and project plan are complete; we just need funding to make it happen.

$30,000 Needed

Resurface the Basketball Court

Basketball is one of our most popular Shabbat activities, but our existing court tiles are past their lifespan and starting to crack. New tiles will restore this high-use space and keep the kids safely ballin’ all summer long.

$12,000 Needed

Near-Term: By the Close of 2026

Senior Staff Housing

To attract and retain excellent senior staff, we hope to build four tiny homes connected to our year-round electric, water, and sewer systems. These units will be used as housing during the summer and for retreat guests in the shoulder seasons. By the 2026 season, we hope to have completed Phase I of this project with a proof of concept for future expansion.

$200,000 Needed Each

Concrete Flooring For Program Spaces

Our beloved white pavilion tents currently sit on dirt floors, which become muddy in rain and uncomfortable for seated learning. Installing a concrete floor in the Beit Midrash will make this key program space more functional, accessible, and weather-resilient throughout the summer.

$72,000 Needed

Kitchen Renovations

Our kitchen has reached its functional limit. Basic upgrades, like improving drainage, can help immediately, while a larger investment would allow us to serve more campers and staff and improve retreat offerings. As enrollment grows, this infrastructure becomes essential.

From $10,000 Needed

Israeli Staff Hiring

Our mishlachat (Israeli staff delegation) brings depth and personal connection to our Israel programming. These funds help underwrite travel, visas, and staffing costs so we can continue to host a robust group of Israeli staff to camp each summer.

$100,000 Needed Annually

Trail Maintenance & Tree Planting

Ongoing trail restoration, erosion control, and tree planting ensure that our ranch remains healthy and safe. These stewardship projects protect the land we depend on and contribute to a more beautiful and climate-resilient environment.

$10,000+ Needed depending on scope

Road Maintenance & Grading

Increasingly intense storms are eroding our main road and causing flooding around the dining hall. This project may not be glamorous, but it is essential: proper grading will redirect runoff, protect key buildings, and keep our primary access route safe and drivable.

$30,000+ Needed

Staff Training & Wellness

Our staff are central to fulfilling our mission and creating the supportive environment where campers grow. Investing in their training and wellness strengthens the entire camp community. When staff receive the skills and support they need, they become confident educators, leaders, and role models, carrying the values, practices, and sense of purpose they develop at camp into their Jewish lives long after the summer ends.

$90,000 Needed

Medium-Term: 2027-2029

Yoga & Meditation Yurt (Ohel Nafshi)

A dedicated space for yoga, meditiation, movement, and spirituality-centered programming will strengthen wellness offerings for campers, staff, and retreat guests. This space would be used daily for t’filah (prayer), shira (music elective), and quiet reflection.

$90,000 Needed

Covered Program Spaces

Beit Hayitzera, our art pavilion, is is used from sunrise into the evening for tefillah, mealtime programs, age-group activities, staff programming, Jewish learning classes, and more. Additional covered pavilions provide the same durable, weather-proof spaces and expand capacity for programming, learning, and retreat rental options.

$300,000 Each

Beit Masa Expansion

Our backcountry excursion program is a signature element of Ramah in the Rockies, and it currently operates at full capacity. Expanding storage, food-prep areas, and packout space will allow us to send out more trips, support larger groups, and ultimately welcome more campers into our community.

From $30,000 Needed

On-site Composting System

Onsite composting would allow us to turn kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich soil for our farm, giving campers a hands-on way to experience the full cycle of sustainability. This system deepens our commitment to environmental stewardship and transforms food waste into a meaningful, mission-aligned program area.

$50,000 Needed to launch,$6,000 annually to operate, $150,000 to endow in perpetuity

Long Term

Eliminate Camp Debt

Paying off our mortgage would free up substantial funds annually to invest directly in scholarships and program expansion.

$3.5 million Needed

Rehabilitate the Old Lodge Site

The old lodge site has been largely untouched since the 2017 fire. Restoring this hillside could create a beautiful outdoor gathering space for davening, performing arts, and retreats. Options range from an amphitheater or covered workout/dance studio to an outdoor kitchen or full pavilion rebuild.

$100,000-$5,000,000 Needed (depending on scope)

Ecology Lab & Observatory

This space for hands-on exploration of the forest ecosystem by day and the stars by night could take the form of a ground-based lab or a treehouse-style structure. It would open new programming opportunities for children to experience the awe and wonder of nature, environmental science, and astronomy through a Jewish lens.

$500,000-$1,000,000+ Needed (depending on scope)

Name Our Ranch

Create a lasting endowment to underwrite scholarships and support our mishlachat (Israel staff delegation) in perpetuity.

$7 million Needed
