Tzevet Poem 2021

Each year we create a magical place where young people learn to become leaders and explore their own potential. While we mainly focus on the experience of the campers, it is often the staff who have the most profound growth each
summer.
This past summer, a staff member led us in a powerful experience at one of our weekly all-staff meetings. She asked each person to write one sentence about how they would describe their summer at Ramah. Over the following days, she compiled our sentences into a poem that she shared with our community and now we present in this booklet.
I am continually moved by the personal growth that happens each summer among our college-age staff members. I am deeply appreciative of all who choose to work with us and embark on a journey of self-discovery amidst the intensive leadership training that is being a staff member at Ramah. All leave knowing that they push themselves one step beyond what they had initially thought possible. Our hope is that all will use the leadership skills honed at Ramah in the Rockies as they make an impact in their home communities too.
