**Families that register for camp before December 15, 2024 will lock in the early bird tuition rate. By December 1, we will re-evaluate our projected summer costs based on inflationary pressures and may raise tuition for anyone who registers after December 15.

Financial Assistance:

Need-based financial assistance is available. Please visit our Grants and Scholarship page to apply and for more information.

Awards are given on a first come, first served basis starting in October each year.

Families in need of a payment plan should contact our Registrar, Sandra Yaron, at sandray@ramahoutdoors.org or 303-261-8214 x105.

Cancellation Policy:

Registrations may be cancelled for any reason until March 1, 2025 with a complete refund of deposit and tuition paid.
Cancellations between March 2 and March 31: Full refund minus a $500 administrative fee
Between April 1 and April 30: 66% refund
Between May 1 and May 31: 33% refund
No refund is available for cancellations after June 1.

Session tuition is the same though session durations vary.

JOLI applicants who are new to camp will be asked to complete an interview with one of our year-round staff members.

Join our camp leadership team on Zoom to learn about our camp program! Prospective campers and their adults are welcome to join us to get a taste of camp, learn about our program and the different age groups, and ask questions.

Visiting Day

Join us on the ranch for our Visiting Day! There will be a site tour, outside picnic (BYOL–bring your own lunch), games, and a bonfire with s’mores. We look forward to seeing you there!

Ta’am Ramah Info Session

January 2025

Join us for a virtual info session about our Ta’am Ramah (taste of Ramah) program for incoming 2nd & 3rd graders. It is a great opportunity for you and your camper(s) to meet our leadership team, learn about this specific program, and ask any questions.

Our Ta’am Ramah registration opens on February 1. Email info@ramahoutdoors.org to add your name to the our Ta’am Priority List or to set up a 1-on-1 meeting with us to learn more.

Refer-a-Friend

As part of the Ramah in the Rockies family, you know how transformative a summer at Ramah can be.

You serve as our best ambassadors, and we would like to reward you for helping us spread the word.

For every new family you refer who registers, we’ll take $200 off your camper tuition or donate $200 to our scholarship fund in your honor!

Program Rules:

Refer-a-Friend runs from September 1, 2024 – April 1, 2025.

The referral is only applicable to new families who have never attended Ramah in the Rockies. Siblings of current or former campers do not qualify. Please note that the $200 credit or donation is per new family, not per new camper. For example, you would receive one $200 credit or $200 donation in your honor if you referred two siblings.

Referral discounts are considered valid and will be applied as a discount once the referrer has emailed info@ramahoutdoors.org, and both the referrer and new camper are registered for camp.

The referral program is for campers enrolled in our 2 or 4 week sessions and does NOT apply to referrals to Ta’am Ramah.

Ramah will honor up to 7 referrals per family each summer.

Grants & Scholarships

First Time Camper Grants

Incentive grants may be available through the One Happy Camper program for campers from certain communities attending Jewish overnight summer camp for the first time, regardless of financial need. After applying and paying your deposit to Ramah in the Rockies, please go to www.OneHappyCamper.org to see if you qualify. First time campers coming from communities without OHC funds may be able to receive a grant through Ramah’s Rishon first time camper program. Funds are extremely limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Military Family Discount

We are pleased to offer an automatic 40% discount to active duty US Military families. Please email Rabbi Eliav Bock at eliavb@ramahoutdoors.org for more information.

Need-Based Financial Aid

At Ramah in the Rockies, we are committed to ensuring that all Jewish children have the opportunity to engage in the magic of intentional Jewish living in a rustic outdoor environment. We have a variety of need-based assistance, location-based assistance, and first time camper incentives available. All need-based assistance is allocated on a first come, first served basis beginning in October each year, and will be distributed until it is gone.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

To apply for financial aid, please complete the following steps:

1.) Submit the financial aid request form.

2.) Email the scholarship committee at scholarship@ramahoutdoors.org the first two pages of your tax return and includes copies of schedules A, B, C, and D if applicable.

Please note: If you send password protected files, you MUST also provide the password – or else your application may be delayed or declined. While the committee tries to honor requests, it also strives to serve many families with the limited funds available. We encourage you to also approach your local Rabbi, synagogue, or Jewish Federation to request support to send your child to Jewish camp.
