Taste of Ramah
In the past, our Ta’am Ramah program was a chance for kids to experience Ramah in the Rockies for just one day. However, we realized that a single day simply isn’t long enough to try all of the fun activities camp has to offer! So for the first time in 2018, Ta’am Ramah will be an overnight program lasting four days and three nights – just enough time for your future camper to get a taste of Ramah in the Rockies and discover if our camp is the right fit!
For your convenience, a bus will shuttle campers from the Hebrew Education Alliance (HEA) in Denver to our 360 acre alpine ranch in the heart of Pike National Forest. Upon arrival, your child will be welcomed by their counselors, settle into their ohel (tent), and get to know their bunkmates.
Throughout their time on the Ramah in the Rockies ranch, campers will eat delicious, Kosher meals with the rest of our community, experience our most popular chuggim (activities), and even go on a mini daytime masa (backcountry excursion)! Participants will also have the opportunity to spend time with our Ilanot campers – the youngest at Ramah in the Rockies – to see what camp is like as a full-time chalutz or chalutza.
In this pilot year of the program, we have space for up to 10 campers! Click here to join our priority mailing list and be the first to know when registration opens. Please note, we can only officially enroll campers upon receipt of the non-refundable tuition payment of $200.
