Update on recruitment

With the end of the calendar year upon us, I wanted to send a recruitment update. We had a fantastic finish to our early bird registration earlier in the week. At the moment we have over 200 children enrolled in the 2013 season.

As of Thursday December 20, 2012 we have

Session I: Openings in all tents, with at least two spaces in each

Session II: At least two spaces left in all tents except:

  • Metayalim Boys IIA (entering grades 5 &6): Closed with a waiting list
  • Sollelim Boys IIA (Entering grades 7 & 8): One space left
  • Sollelim Boys IIA+IIB: Closed with waiting list
  • Sollelim Girls IIA+IIB: One space left
  • Bogrim Boys IIA+IIB (Entering grade 9+10): Closed with waiting list
  • JOLI Girls II (entering 11+12): Closed with waiting list.

We plan to build two new camper tents this summer, and therefore will open a fifth bunk in at least two edot (age groups) this summer. In late January, we will allocate these two bunks to whichever groups have the longest waiting lists (other than JOLI) so do not become too discouraged if you are currently on a waiting list.

The extraordinary growth of Ramah in Colorado has been a function of the incredible staff and chalutzim who make up our community each summer and go home and tell their friends about the magical environment we have at our ranch. Please continue to spread the word to your friends and family.

Thank you and Happy Secular New Year!
